Every year, the number of convenience store robberies across the United States increases by an alarming factor.

Although incredibly commonplace, these stores are unique properties in the commercial sector. Unfortunately, the very “convenient” nature of these convenience stores is exactly what makes them “convenient” for criminals. The facts that they are usually open 24 hours a day or at least well into the night, largely cash-based, have small staffs, and opportunely located all make convenience stores an enticing prospect for potential criminals.

However, these aren’t excuses, and as the owner of any type of business, your first priority should of course be the safety and well-being of your customers and employee staff.
